Verständnis von Konzepten und Anforde- rungen der physikalischen und methodi- schen Beschreibung optoelektronischer Bauelemente und optischer Wellenleiter- komponenten. Analyse des Einsatzes opto- elektronischer Bauelemente in fiberopti- schen Kommunikationssystemen. Befähi- gung zur Beurteilung von fiberoptischen Systemen, des Einsatzes von optoelektroni- schen Bauelementen.
