Abstract

Knowledge of sensors and signal processing for monitoring and control in textile manufacturing systems. Basics of quality control according to ISO 9000 in textile-manufacturing plants.

Content

Physical principles of capacitive, optical and resistive sensors. Transmission and processing of analog and digital signals. Specifications and tolerances of measuring chains. Computer-based statistical evaluation-methods. Laboratory and production tests from fiber to fabric. Organization of quality control in a cotton spinning mill.
