Integration of social norms and economic dynamics in a holistic analysis. Capital accumulation; pollution and scarcity of renewable and non-renewable natural resources; mechanisms of substitution of natural resources; impact of globalisation on sustainability; sustainability policy.

Integration der gesellschaftlichen Wertvorstellungen und der Mechanismen wirtschaftlicher Dynamik in eine ganzheitliche Analyse. Normative Grundlagen der Nachhaltigkeitsziele; marktgesteuerter Verbrauch an natürlichen Ressourcen; statische und dynamische Wirkungen der Internalisierung externer Effekte; Prinzipien der Kapitalakkumulation einschliesslich Human- und Wissenskapital; Einfluss der Verschmutzung und der Knappheit an regenerierbaren und erschöpfbaren natürlichen Ressourcen auf die langfristige Wirtschaftsentwicklung; Mechanismen der Substitution natürlicher Ressourcen; Einfluss der Globalisierung auf die Nachhaltigkeitszielsetzung; Elemente einer Nachhaltigkeitspolitik.
