Master's Thesis
Only students fulfilling the following criteria can start with their Master's thesis:
a. successful completion of the bachelor programme,
b. fulfillment of any additional requirements necessary to gain admission to the master programme, and
c. Acquisition of at least 40 CPs in the master programme.
The topic of the thesis and -if they are not Professors of D-HEST or D-USYS, Agricultural Sciences - the examiner and the co-examiner have to be approved by the D-HEST Department Conference.

Abstract
The Master’s thesis concludes the Master’s degree programme and is an independent scientific project. The topic is usually chosen in the field of the major. It is supervised by a professor or PD at the D-HEST or D-USYS/ Agricultural Sciences.
Objective
The Master's thesis must demonstrate the student's ability to independent, structured and scientific working.
