Abstract
Astrophysics III is a course in Galactic Astrophysics. It introduces the concepts of stellar populations, stellar dynamics, interstellar medium (ISM), and star formation for understanding the physics and phenomenology of the different components of the Milky Way galaxy.
Objective
The course should provide basic knowledge for research projects in the field of star formation. Emphasis is put on general physical processes applicable in stellar physics and planet formation and the determination of physical parameters from observations.
