Abstract
This seminar proposes a collective investigation based on immersive architectural projects, ranging from a baroque chapel to an augmented reality arena. By attempting to find a common definition of what is meant by the notion of immersion in the field of architecture, we will draw up an atlas of projects that go beyond a classic tectonic and rational reading of architecture.
Objective
Enlarge a background of historical knowledge and architectural culture. Developing a critical and theoretical reflexion on virtual and augmented reality technologies. Increase research and writing skills.
Content
Students will work in groups on a selected project. Based on targeted research and the collection of various documents, they will be guided in the search for primary and secondary sources in order to obtain as complete a reading of the project as possible. Each group will edit an entry for the joint atlas.
