Objective
In this practical, interactive course, you’ll learn how to present clear, confident, and engaging academic presentations in English, using impactful visuals and handling questions skillfully. Through practice and individual feedback, you’ll develop your presentation skills and strengthen your academic communication.
Content
This course helps university students and staff develop the confidence and skills to deliver clear, engaging presentations in English. Through short instructor input, recorded examples, and interactive classroom activities participants practise effective presentation techniques in a supportive environment. Participants prepare and deliver two short presentations, learning how to structure ideas clearly, guide audiences through a talk, and design simple yet impactful slides. The course emphasises learning by doing, with regular opportunities to practise and receive constructive feedback from peers and the instructor. By the end, participants will have practiced real presentation scenarios, received personalized feedback, and gained tips and tools to present with more confidence and clarity.
