Marxist and Post-Marxist Theory: Module II

Abstract
An overview of Marxist social theory and epistemology as well as post-Marxist reactions (such as Frankfurt school, structuralist Marxism, Post-colonial theory, Feminist appraoches, Operaismo).
Objective
This module will focus on writing student essays related to the material covered in module I and on peer-evaluation of these essays. The goal is to apply the theories to the students' learning and research interests, develop their analytic skills, and allow them to improve their capacities for providing constructive academic critique.
