Abstract
Introduction to modern approaches in structural monitoring, uncertainty quantification and risk-based decision models in earthquake engineering.
Objective
The participants: - understand how measurement data and monitoring can contribute to the assessment of structural behaviour, - understand which types of uncertainties arise in seismic assessment, - recognise the limitations of purely deterministic verification formats, - gain an overview of large-scale risk analyses.
