Abstract

Practice-oriented deepening based on real case studies from the assessment and retrofitting of existing buildings and bridges. The module combines analytical procedures with practical implementation.

Objective

The participants: - can apply analytical procedures in real projects, - understand typical challenges in the investigation of existing structures, - can critically interpret results, - gain insight into real decision-making processes, - reflect on the interfaces between theory, codes and construction practice.
