Abstract

In this seminar students learn advanced techniques to support and to diagnose knowledge acquisition processes in school.

Objective

The main objectives of the course are: (1) You can explain the cognitive mechanisms underlying knowledge acquisition. (2) You apply insights from psychological test theory to design and use tests appropriately. (3) You apply various formative assessment techniques in a manner appropriate to the content and situation. (4) You apply various support methods in a manner appropriate to the content and situation.
