Abstract
Imparts basic understanding of physiology, focusing on physiological systems of direct relevance to nutrition topics,such as taste and appetite (neurophysiology), food digestion (gastrointestinal physiology), and related general topic (neural and endocrine communication in the body).
Objective
At the end of the course, the students are able to describe, explain, and apply the biological and nutritional principles of physiology including specific examples.
