Abstract

This block course is dedicated to assess diagnostic imaging information in order to derive or support a patient's diagnosis. Example cases will be presented and discussed in a flipped classroom setting. Applications of the various medical imaging modalities introduced during the Medical Imaging I course will be covered.

Objective

The course enables students to: * interpret and analyse medical image content * assess diagnostic yield in medical images * derive diagnosis in conjunction with other clinical data * make an informed request for additional exams if necessary

Clinical case examples including data from: * X-ray and Computed Tomography * Magnetic Resonance Imaging * Nuclear Imaging * Ultrasound Imaging

Für das Erfüllen der Semesterleistung ist eine aktive Teilnahme am gesamten Unterricht notwendig, nur so können die entsprechenden Lernziele erreicht werden. Entsprechend gilt eine Anwesenheitspflicht.Bei jeder Abwesenheit muss der Hauptdozierende vorgängig informiert werden. Die Studierenden sind verpflichtet, ihre Abwesenheit zu begründen. Ob eine Ersatzleistung angeboten werden kann, wird vom Hauptdozierenden entschieden. Andernfalls muss das Modul im Folgejahr wiederholt werden.
