Abstract
The module includes contributions from specialists actively working in the field of sustainability with a focus on social, environmental, and cultural aspects.
Objective
Students will be able to relate preservation and material flow concepts to maintenance practices. They learn to contextualize emission calculations and apply them to their model projects. Various methods of building research and data collection, aspects of the circular economy are introduced, and the social and cultural context of different maintenance actions are highlighted.
Content
Interactions between the various aspects of sustainability and the measures taken to repair and maintain objects are shown. Various concepts of preservation that can contribute to the formulation of appropriate strategies are demonstrated.
