Abstract

Stabilising familiar movements as well as acquiring new skills in order to guarantee minimal demonstration competences of a future physical education teacher in the fields of apparatus gymnastics, trampolining and acrobatics.

Objective

Apparatus Gymnastics III focuses on the acquisition and stabilisation of elementary skills on the various apparatuses. The future physical education teacher should be capable of personally demonstrate those basic skills during sport classes at high school level. Furthermore there will be conveyed additional skills and elements on an adequate level. The students should be able to: - demonstrate basic skills on different apparatuses - deepen their existing store of movements - enhance their repertoire on apparatus specific movements - improve their individual performance competencies (in order to also enhance self-confidence and presentation power)

Content

- training and consolidation of established core movements and its combinations on high bar, parallel bars, uneven bars, swinging rings and on the trampoline - conveyance and acquisition of new skills on the above mentioned apparatuses
