Legendrian Contact Homology

Abstract
This is an introductory lecture in Legendrian contact homology in ℝ^3. We will be following the article ``Legendrian contact homology in ℝ^3" by Etnyre and Ng. We will begin with recalling basics of contact geometry and Legendrian knots.
Objective
The goal is to have a working knowledge of Legendrian contact homology of knots and the associated DGA. We will emphasize on not only the theory of holomorphic curves behind these structures, but also on computing examples and applications. Hope is to appreciate Legendrian knots and their complexity.
