Abstract

The course provides a deeper understanding of the methodological foundations of results-oriented planning and steering of development projects. Together with the participants, we reflect on the situation-specific application of instruments for project planning and the development of a monitoring system, which makes it possible to adapt and steer projects.

Objective

The course participants are able to describe the processes and concepts of project planning and monitoring using the correct technical terminology, to initiate an analysis of an initial situation, elaborate an adapted logical framework including a monitoring system, and to steer the implementation of projects in the field of international cooperation.

- Basic concepts of result-oriented project management - Instruments and resources for project planning, including the elaboration of a "logframe matrix" and results chain - Instruments and resources for project monitoring, and for the development of a monitoring system, including indicators to assess objectives achievement and steer the Project - Structure and improve results-oriented Project reports
