Master's Thesis

Only students who fulfill the following criteria are allowed to begin with their master thesis: a. successful completion of the bachelor programme; b. fulfilling of any additional requirements necessary to gain admission to the master programme; c. has acquired at least 30 CPs in the master programme. The topic of the thesis and - if they are not Professors of D-HEST - the examiner and the co-examiner have to be approved by the D-HEST Department Conference.

Abstract

The Master thesis completes the master programme and is an independent scientific project. Generally, the topic is selected from the specific field of the major. It is supervised by a professor/ Privatdozents at D-HEST or D-USYS, Agricultural Sciences.

Objective

The Master thesis demonstrates the student's ability to independent, structured and scientific working.
