Abstract
The course content of the lecture Landscape Planning and Environmental Systems (103-0347-00 V) will be illustrated in practical GIS exercises (e.g. habitat modelling, land use change, ecosystem services, connectivity).
Objective
By the end of the course, students will be able to: - apply theoretical concepts of landscape planning to real-world tasks. - quantitatively assess, analyze and evaluate landscape characteristics and structures. - use GIS tools and spatial data effectively to address landscape planning problems. - develop and justify planning measures based on practical case studies.
