Abstract
The course discusses different actors and instruments of International Development Cooperation to reduce global poverty.
Objective
The course aims to provide students with the historical background as well as economic and empirical foundations of international development cooperation. Moreover, we will discuss the opportunities and limitations of international development cooperation in reducing global poverty. After the course students will be able to critically discuss various instruments of governments, international organizations, private individuals, industry, entrepreneurs and non-governmental organizations (NGOs).
