Abstract

Scientific paradigms of philosophising.

Objective

Insights into the fundamental paradigms of philosophising and the connections between specialised sciences and philosophy.

Content

Different scientific paradigms of philosophising are studied. Classical texts by authors such as Christian Wolff (world as machine), Charles Sanders Peirce (laws as product of evolution), Ludwig Wittgenstein / Rudolf Carnap (world structure as calculus) will be used. More detailed text information will follow at the beginning of the semester.
