Abstract

This course is an introduction to manufacturing engineering and technology and covers the basic physical principles of manufacturing as well as the most important manufacturing process.

Objective

After this course, the students should be able to select and design basic manufacturing processes for a given manufacturing task and assess the interrelation between process parameters and properties.
