CAAD Practice: What is architecture, if computers create what we think architecture is?

Abstract
The seminar will focus on the concept of artificial intelligence and its relevance to the field of architecture. It will explore what artificial intelligence is and how architects can engage in discussions around it. It will also address the challenges associated with incorporating artificial intelligence in architectural practice.
Objective
The seminar will also discuss the roles of drawings, algorithms, and language in relation to artificial intelligence in architectural design. There will be a special emphasis on cultural heritage and intercultural global communication.
Content
Students will write an essay which analyses a building of choice in the context of artificial intelligence. The task will require students to critically evaluate the implications of artificial intelligence on a specific architectural structure.
