Abstract

This course is focused on the generation and propagation of electromagnetic fields. Based on Maxwell's equations we will derive the wave equation and its solutions. Specifically, we will discuss fields and waves in free space, refraction and reflection at plane interfaces, dipole radiation and angular spectrum representation.

3 beidseitig beschriebene A4 Blätter. Keine weitere Hilfsmittel (Taschenrechner, Computer, Handys, .. ).
Alle Hausaufgaben werden per Moodle elektronisch eingesammelt. Davon werden 3 zufällig ausgewählte Serien bewertet. Wenn in diesen 3 Serien im Durchschnitt mehr als 70% der maximalen Punkte erreicht wird, so wird die Note der Blockprüfung um 0.25 aufgewertet. Am Semesterende wird bekannt gegeben, welche Serien in die Bewertung einfliessen.
