Abstract
Methodical and didactical concepts for teaching basketball are demonstrated and implemented on the example of game development and management.
Objective
The level II courses focus on methodological concepts and didactics. The goal is to learn how to teach the specific sport at high school level. The didactical aspects are often conveyed through new skills and elements. It is not required to have passed the level I course, but it is mandatory to have attended it previously. You will develop an understanding for the game of basketball as a base for teaching. You will learn the analytical skills to improve the game quality on a school level. You will know the most important aspects of umpiring and coaching.
Content
Specific methodical and didactical concepts and aspects for teaching will be covered and continued based on the game development during the basic course. Using microteachings and a game umpiring sequence within the lecture, the discussed content will be applied by the students.

Sportpraxis (Fachwissenschaftliche Voraussetzung für den Erhalt des Lehrdiploms für Maturitätsschulen im Fach Sport ist ein universitärer Master-Abschluss in Sport-, Bewegungs-, Gesundheits- oder anderen Naturwissenschaften mit genügend bewegungs- und sportwissenschaftlichen Grundlagen. Darüber hinaus sind fachpraktische Auflagen (Sportpraxis) im Umfang von 46 KP erforderlich, die teilweise im Rahmen des Bachelor- und Master-Studiums absolviert werden können.)
