Abstract

Introduction to the differential and integral calculus in one real variable: fundaments of mathematical thinking, numbers, sequences, basic point set topology, continuity, differentiable functions, ordinary differential equations, Riemann integration.

Objective

The ability to work with the basics of calculus in a mathematically rigorous way.

Als Hilfsmittel zur Prüfung ist nur eine von der Dozentin zur Verfügung gestellte Formelsammlung erlaubt.
Im Laufe des Semesters werden in einem ca. 3-wöchigen Rhythmus interaktive Aufgaben (am Computer, BYOD) zur Bearbeitung in den Übungen angeboten. Die erfolgreiche Bearbeitung dieser Aufgaben führt zu einem Notenbonus von bis zu 0.25 (ungerundeten) Notenpunkten und wird zur (ungerundeten) Note der Endprüfung addiert. Die Detailangaben zu diesem Bonusprogramm (Lernelemente) werden sowohl auf der Vorlesungswebseite als auch in der Vorlesung selbst kommuniziert.
