Abstract
Implementing findings from research into teaching and learning for chemistry lessons and coverage of subject-specific teaching and learning specialities.
Objective
The students have basic subject didactic knowledge for teaching chemistry at a secondary school. They are able to design lessons that are effective for learning, actively involve students in lessons, explain challenging concepts simply, use experiments for theory and reflect on teaching.
Content
Schwerpunkte im ersten Studiensemester bilden die folgenden Themen: - Auswahl gymnasiumsrelevanter Lerninhalte - Didaktische Vereinfachung - Modelle und chemischen Formeln zur Beschreibung von Aufbau und Umwandlung der Substanzen - Wechselspiel zwischen Beobachtung in der realen Welt und Deutung auf Modell-Ebene - Skizzen entwerfen und zur Erklärung von Reaktionen nutzen - Chemie im 8. Schuljahr: Das Teilchenmodell erklärt viele Phänomene im Anfangsunterricht - Atommodelle und chemische Bindung - Radioaktivität und Kernspaltung - Struktur und Eigenschaft - Auswahl, Konzeption, Vorbereitung, Durchführung, Einbettung und Auswertung von Demonstrations-Experimenten
