Abstract

Foundations of electrical engineering: stationary electric and magnetic fields, basic elements of electric circuits, direct current (DC) circuits, and electromagnetic induction.

Objective

- You can derive current and voltage from their physical origin. - You can describe the properties of basic electric circuit elements with electric and magnetic fields. - You can mathematically describe, analyse and design technical realisations of circuit elements. - You can calculate the current and voltage distributions in direct current circuits. - You can explain electromagnetic induction and transfer it to technical applications.

Eine eigenständige Vorbereitung auf die Vorlesung und das Lösen von Übungsaufgaben und Erlangen von Rechenroutine ist ein wichtiger Bestandteil der Lehrveranstaltung. Es werden hierfür Lernelemente online angeboten, durch deren Bearbeiten Sie die in der Sessionsprüfung erworbene Note um maximal 0.25 Notenpunkte erhöhen können (Details werden zu Beginn der Vorlesung bekannt gegeben). Es zählen ausschliesslich die Punkte welche durch Lernelement im direkt vorangegangenen Herbstsemester erworbenen wurden. Anrechnung von älteren Punkten ist nicht möglich.
