Abstract
The process of writing a scientific proposal isintroduced and the essential elements, including the peerreview process, are outlined and class exercises trainscientific writing skills. Knowledge exchange between classparticipants is promoted through the preparation of a master thesisproposal and evaluation of each other's work. An introduction to presentation skills is provided.
