Abstract

Selected laboratory experiments in physics, mechanical and process engineering. With the Laboratory Practice held during the fifth semester, the students learn how to handle and apply measurement methods and devices. Students are offered a diverse choice of laboratory practice from which at least eleven must be completed. Five of the chosen practices must be physics practice.

Objective

Hands-on experience of measurement and control with modern hardware.

Content

Laboratory experiments in dynamics and control. Experiments: man in the loop; digital multivariable control; digital control of a loading crane; measuring air mass flow; control of an inverted pendulum; control of the depth of a diving bell.
