Abstract

This lecture provides an overview of basic principles in pharmacology, mechanisms of drug action and clinical uses of important classes of drugs.

Objective

After the successful completion of this course, students have understood basic principles of pharmacology, learned mechanisms of drug action and know clinical uses of important classes of drugs.

Content

This lecture provides a short overview about basic and clinical pharmacology topics of selected classes of drugs.

The exam takes place on devices provided by ETH Zurich.
Lernelemente: Während der Vorlesung finden Uebungen in Form von kurzen schriftlichen Tests statt (empfohlen aber nicht obligatorisch). Bei erfolgreichem Abschluss aller Tests werden maximal 0.25 Notenpunkte zur Sessionsprüfung als Bonus addiert. Die Maximalnote kann auch ohne Bonus erreicht werden.
