Abstract

Introduction to basic concepts and methods of digital image processing.

Objective

- understand and explain mathematical and statistical description of images - understanding and recognise digital image processing as a basis for remote sensing, photogrammetry and computer vision - know and understand basic operations for digital image and signal processing - know, apply and select suitable computational methods for basic image processing tasks - solve image processing tasks with the presented tools
