Genetic Diversity: Analysis
Last Updated: 2026-02-05 16:37:04
Abstract
The course offers practical training to masters, doctoral, and postdoctoral students in genomic data management and analysis. The emphasis is specifically on high throughput sequencing applications and data analysis, with a focus on reproducibility and report writing. Theoretical understanding will be aided by exercises, and active participation is encouraged rather than just passively listening.
Objective
The course is divided into several sub-areas. The overall learning objective is to understand the analysis of high throughput molecular sequencing data in a reproducible manner. However, each subfield has specific learning objectives.
Content
The course Genetic Diversity: Analysis is organised by the Genetic Diversity Centre (GDC). You can find out more about the content directly from the course website ( https://www.gdc-docs.ethz.ch/GeneticDiversityAnalysis/GDA/site/ ).
