Abstract

Doctoral students get an understanding of the sustainability model and its challenges for research and society to be addressed in a transdisciplinary structuring of environmental issues, investigation and valuation of results.

Objective

Doctoral students are introduced into the concepts of sustainability and transdisciplinarity and relate their own research project with this contexts.

Content

Seminal papers on sustainability and transdiscipinarity are presented by the participants and discussed with relation to their own research work.
