Abstract

This course is an introduction to classical physics, with special focus on applications in medicine.

Objective

Obtain an understanding of basic concepts in classical physics and their application (using mathematical pre-knowledge) to the solution of simple problems, including certain applications in medicine. Obtain an understanding of relevant quantities and of orders of magnitude.

Electromagnetism; Thermodynamics; Optics.

ACHTUNG: Die folgenden Angaben betreffen den JAHRESKURS Physik I und II.Als Lernelement wird die aktive Teilnahme im Übungsbetrieb bewertet. Für eine erfolgreiche aktive Teilnahme wird erwartet, dass in jedem Semester 50% der Übungsserien selbständig bearbeitet und eingereicht wurden. Ist die aktive Teilnahme erfüllt, wird die ungerundete Prüfungsnote um 0.25 Notenpunkte ergänzt.
