Photogrammetrie II
Last Updated: 2026-02-05 14:55:20
Abstract
Photogrammetry II contains the fundamentals of image orientation, generation and interpolation of digital terrain models, orthoimages and bundle adjustment. Furthermore, during a semester project, the students conduct a photogrammetric project using an examplary dataset.
Objective
Understanding the methods of analytical and digital photogrammetry. Autonomous accuracy analysis of photogrammetric structures. Experience and competent application of procedures, methods and important products of praxis: DTM, orthoimages and aerial triangulation.
Content
Basic aspects of the analytical photogrammetry: back projection, bundle method with one moldel, degeneration cases of the relative orientation, model deformation, measurements and improvement of image coordinates, modeling of systematic errors. DTM generation: data generation, interpolation procedures, products and applications. Orthophoto: generation, applications. Aerotriangulation: methods, data preparation, tie points, functional and statistical model, GCP distribution, theoretical and empirical precision, integration of GPS and INS data, triangulation with digital images.
