Intersection Theory in Algebraic Geometry

Abstract
This course will be an introduction to intersection theory in algebraic geometry. Covered topics will include the notions of algebraic cycles and Chern classes, and the construction of the intersection product on Chow groups. We will follow the approach of the subject due to Fulton and MacPherson, as exposed in Fulton's book "Intersection theory".
Objective
The goal of this course is to give an introduction to intersection theory in algebraic geometry.
