Abstract
The follow-up qualification of the Teaching Certificate (TC) includes vocational education required by the "Berufsbildungsverantwortliche des Staatssekretariats für Bildung, Forschung und Innovation" (SBFI). Students who enrolled for the Teaching Certificate before Fall semester 2011 and who passed all courses of this study program, are allowed to work in schools specialized on vocational educatio
Objective
- Understanding how the Swiss school system will impact classroom practice in vocational education. - Learning to systematically categorize professions and to draw consequences from this categorization for curricula and classroom practice in vocational education. - Learning to use documents for classification of professions. - Evaluating the importance of the Swiss dual vocational education system in the light of educational and economic perspectives. - Learning how to consider the most important aspects of the Swiss dual educational system for classroom practice.
