Abstract

An elective thesis in architectural theory is a written student assignment of an architectural issue or question, which is to be elaborated into a scientific paper in consultation with the advisor.

Objective

Within the framework of an elective thesis the student enhances the acquired knowledge in architectural theory in written form. The thesis elective serves the acquirement of methodologies, the derivation, development and verbalization of conclusions and the contextualization within a theoretical setting.

Content

The contents of the elective thesis are expected to link to the subject matter of the attended course.
