Abstract

This course offers an introduction to approaches and tools for capacity development, considering training and human resources development, institutional change and systemic reform. The objective of the course is to build practical skills for better planning, design, implementation, and assessment of capacity development initiatives.

Objective

After completing the course, participants will be able to • Explain basic concepts of Capacity Development and its role in the international development cooperation. • Critically discuss approaches of capacity development, including human resources development, institutional change and systemic reform. • Designe, implement and evaluate capacity development interventions. • Manage learning- and change processes. • Reflect upon own experiences and lessons learnt
