Abstract
Lifestyles and functions of symbiotic, saprobic and pathogenic fungi, communities of mycorrhizas and its functional aspects, evolution and phylogenetic aspects of plant-fungal interactions, inter- and intraspecific interactions of mycelia, role of fungi in nutrient mobilisation and weathering.
Objective
In-depth knowledge of the biology and ecology of fungi in the forest. Self-examination of the current literature.
Content
In-depth treatment of selected topics of fungi in the forest ecosystem: Lifestyles and functions of symbiotic, saprobic and pathogenic fungi, communities of mycorrhizas and its functional aspects, evolution and phylogenetic aspects of plant-fungal interactions, inter- and intraspecific interactions of mycelia, role of fungi in nutrient mobilisation and weathering. Basics will be presented in lectures. In addition, individual study of the learning matter with the help of current literature and presentations.
