Abstract

In this two-semester course, students write an academic text at an advanced level on a topic in defense economics. In the first part of the course, the students design a research design. In the second part, they write a term paper and present before the class.

Objective

The seminar is conducted in several groups over two semesters. The goal of the seminar is to work on a question within the framework of a topic of defense economics, to research it, to write a scientific paper and to present it in the plenary session. Due to the methodological skills acquired in the proseminar, a qualitatively demanding work is expected.

Content

In the first part of the event, the reading and discussion of selected specialist literature will be used to familiarize participants with the topic of the seminar. On this basis, a research design will be developed. Additionally, methodological problems and difficulties will be discussed. In the second part the students write their seminar papers and present them in the plenum.
