Abstract
Experiments close to natural situations are important for the development in the areas of nature conservation and the promotion of ecosystem services, where near-natural ecosystems and humans benefit. In this course the students get to know different approaches in lectures, demonstrations, excursions and, last but not least, with their own experiment.
Objective
- to become familiar with various experimental approaches, the instruments and the statistical analysis, incl. their advantages and disadvantages in the field of experimental plant ecology. - to gain practical skills by carrying out and evaluating relevant experiments.
