Abstract
Fundamentals of geographic information systems: spatial data modeling; metrics & topology; vector, raster and network data; thematic data; spatial statistics; system architectures; data quality; spatial queries and analysis; geovisualisation; spatial databases; group project with GIS software
Objective
Knowing theoretical aspects of geographic information regarding data acquisition, representation, analysis and visualisation. Knowing the fundamentals of geoinformation technologies for the realization, application and operation of geographic information systems in engineering projects.
