Abstract
In the last decade, there has been active development of tensor methods for high-dimensional problems emerging from scientific computing and data analysis applications. Their goal is to approximate the arising multidimensional data with a small number of parameters using tensor decompositions. In this seminar, we focus on the advances in this field in the context of partial differential equations.

Seminars (This semester, many seminars have a waiting list with special selection procedure. If no other criteria apply, a definitive registration will be granted first of all to students who haven't got another seminar registration. Here is the best procedure for dealing with two waiting lists: first choose your preferred seminar and afterwards choose an alternative seminar.)
