QuanTech Workshops

Abstract
The mission of the QuanTech Workshops is project oriented learning in the context of quantum technology.Students will work in teams (2-5 students), consisting of engineers and physicists, and jointly tackle a quantum engineering project. During the Case Studies: Application of Quantum Technologies course (see course catalogue HS2019) students will work on several project propositions.
Objective
Students will learn and practice how to execute a project in the quantum engineering domain. By working in close collaboration with senior scientists and professors from the two departments (D-ITET and D-PHYS), students will define and tackle some of the pressing challenges n in the field of quantum technologies.
