Abstract
Basketball - Basics: Basic technical skills: shooting, passing, dribbling / ballhandling, footwork, defense related to the specific Basketball rules.(Pre-)tactical skills: 4-4 on one basket; then step by step from 1-0 to 5-5 on both baskets.
Objective
The students know the basic Basketball elements (dribbling, changes of hand, stops, starts, footwork, pass, shot, defense), they can demonstrate them and use them correctly in game situations. The students are able to teach Basketball over a unit of several lessons. The students know the main rules and are able to lead a game as a coach and a referee.
Content
Getting to the game as fast as possible, learning the basic elements in drills and games, (pre-)tactical elements (1-1, getting open, 2-2, backdoor cut, give-and-go, 3-3, spacing, 4-4, 5-5) and leading games as a coach/referee.

Sport Practical (The Teaching Diploma in Sport will only be granted to students holding a Master, Diploma or Licentiate degree in Human Movement Sciences and Sport or Health Sciences and Technology . Additionally, a Sport Practical encompassing 56 CP's is required. The Sport Practical can be partly conducted during the Bachelor and Master programmes in Sport.)
