Too many presentations are boring. In this course you will discuss and practice how to make your current and future presentations more attractive. In addition, we will go into the most important elements of a powerful presentation using an analysis toll called the Skipwith Radar. You will learn how to prepare your presentations faster with a clear structure. The audience will be able to follow you more easily, you will get to the point faster and stay in your audiences memory longer. We will cover the do´s and don'ts of a professional presentation. For those who feel nervous are going to get ideas on how to deal with nervousness. Of course, PowerPoint is also a topic: How many slides should I share? Is it possible to do without slides all together? You will find out how your body language comes across and if so, what things you might want to change or avoid. We will closely monitor your gestures and facial expressions – also on video. Also, you are going to receive a lot of feedback from the teacher, the other participants and the video recordings. Furthermore, you will receive ideas and techniques on how to handle difficult participants, questions and situations. Additionally, you will learn a surefire technique how to speak of the cuff.
