Abstract

Key terms: Forward-looking company and project organisation

Objective

Module 8 provides the basis for the development of robust long-term strategies for implementing digitalisation in projects and companies. The participants learn how to evaluate these strategies independently and critically.

Content

To be able to use digitally-aided project processing and value creation in specific contexts, a digitalisation strategy is needed as the foundation for later implementation in the project and in the company. This strategy defines the planned activities needed to achieve the goals. Using participants’ own list of tasks, the existing state is compared with the target state in relation to available resources, strengths, competences, technical requirements and processes.
