Module 7: Ordering and Process Organisation
Modul 7: Bestellung und Prozessorganisation
Last Updated: 2026-02-05 15:41:51
Abstract
Key terms: “Last planner,” “quality gates,” LOD and BIM project development plan
Objective
The organisational elements involved in digitally-aided project work are defined in Module 7. Using a case study, the participants learn how to competently put together what is known as a BIM project development plan.
Content
The early setting of project goals, tasks and activities contributes to the success of a project, as the organisation can then be transparently defined and communicated. Currently, what is known as a BIM project development plan helps define the project aims, organisation and details of the attributes, semantics, SOI, LOD and LOI that are to be used. The basis for these can be provided both by the familiar SIA process and also an superimposed flexible process organisation. Finally, the standards and definitions used by the Swiss professional associations are explained.
